Last Friday night we dusted off our neckerchiefs and scuffed up our boots for a 50th birthday party hoedown.
We served ales in dimpled pint glasses and Pimms in mason jars from a traditional wooden bar to the 150 guests.
The night was a roaring success with the line dancing carrying on until the early hours.
In late April we kicked off a busy spring season with an inaugural rugby sevens after party.
We have provided bar services for this event for a few years now and always enjoy the party; the VIP guests arrive after attending the local rugby match to a champagne reception and then are well catered to by a multitude of different cocktails and catering options.
A favourite this year was our heavy gin based concoction named “The Moll”
Music was provided by “Highly Strung” and the guests partied until the early hours!
This weekend myself and the team travelled to Dumfries in bonnie Scotland, for what was quite possibly one of the most amazing events we have had the pleasure in working.
Once again we were working with Bakerwood marquees and we served a mixture of classic cocktails from an illuminated bar, the guests arrived in fairy-tale costume and full military regalia for this high society event.
The party went on from 6pm until 6am and featured 3 different marquees including a jungle themed room.
The guests and we had a fantastic night and the pictures really speak for themselves.
Now we are off to catch up on some sleep!
