Rugby Sevens after Party

In late April we kicked off a busy spring season with an inaugural rugby sevens after party.

We have provided bar services for this event for a few years now and always enjoy the party; the VIP guests arrive after attending the local rugby match to a champagne reception and then are well catered to by a multitude of different cocktails and catering options.

A favourite this year was our heavy gin based concoction named “The Moll”

Music was provided by “Highly Strung” and the guests partied until the early hours!

Spectacular 21st Birthday Party

This weekend myself and the team travelled to Dumfries in bonnie Scotland, for what was quite possibly one of the most amazing events we have had the pleasure in working.

Once again we were working with Bakerwood marquees and we served a mixture of classic cocktails from an illuminated bar, the guests arrived in fairy-tale costume and full military regalia for this high society event.

The party went on from 6pm until 6am and featured 3 different marquees including a jungle themed room.

The guests and we had a fantastic night and the pictures really speak for themselves.
Now we are off to catch up on some sleep!

RAF Wedding

A right royal affair at this military wedding, our traditional pine bars looked beautiful in this classic marquee, the entertainment provided was amazing, from jazz band to pianist there was something to suit all tastes and brought real variety to the reception. Spitfire real ale was served on tap naturally and Peroni to cater to the non military boys!

Cumbrian Birthday Party

Serving from a gorgeous Bakerwood Bar we served everything from champagne to chilled cider, and martinis in fluorescant glasses! We danced to local band Highly Strung and ate chocolates which were handmade on site. It all went a bit coyote ugly when the guests adorned the bar top and a soda spray fight ensued.

St. Emilion Vineyard

At the end of the wedding season the staff and I took a well deserved break to St.Emilion whilst there we sampled many a bottle of the local red stuff, well it would have been rude not to, and visited many a vineyard, many new exciting ideas were discussed around 3am whilst rolling around empty bottles!

Festival Style wedding

Working in an enchanting Tipi we served revellers from all corners of the globe each representing a different music festival, it was a real wellies and cider affair with dancing around the camp fire bottle in hand, and later on everyone was served nightcaps whilst gazing into the stars.

Tynedale Birthday Party

A stunning setup in this small but perfectly formed marquee proving no space is too small for a get together, our Ibiza style chill out area led down to a maruqee housing bench style seating. Mojitos were the order of the day along with holowed out pineapples to serve Pina Coladas in. Champagne was flowing and our resident barmen was crowned king of the Mojito. The staff left happy also with some fish and chips on the way home!

18th Birthday Party – Mexican Fiesta

Boutique Bars were asked to provide the bar service at this Mexican themed birthday party, the marquee looked incredible and was decorated with pink and orange striped carpets, milos hanging decorations and piñatas everywhere. We served Mexican themed cocktails such as Long Island Iced Tea with a twist and El Diablo Mojitos. The guests dined on build them yourself fajitas and enchiladas, the musical entertainment was provided by none other than the famous “Doritos” band singing their classic twist on “don’t you want me baby”

Northumberland Wedding

We were present at this gorgeous intimate wedding for only 54 guests, the marquee was set up in the grounds of a gorgeous stately home and the guests enjoyed the glorious sunshine all day long, our waiters ran table service all day serving cocktails and wine to the guests, when the sun set the nightclub part of the marquee was revealed and guests danced to local bands and djs, the song of the night was definitely “Get Lucky”, the bar was inundated with requests for Jagerbombs and B52’s and the guests immersed themselves in the nightclub environment.
