Over the 21st, 22nd and 23rd April we were asked to provide a Gin Bar at the very popular Ponteland Rugby Club Beer Festival.
The gin bar was the first of it’s kind at the festival and proved to be a runaway hit with the thousands of guests that visited over the three days.
Guests loved the option of something different to beer to test on the palette and our recommended pairings meant they could try something out of the ordinary.
The most popular gin of the weekend was Monkey 47, which just so happens to be this girls favourite too, luckily there was a little left over for the staff to enjoy at the end!
Gin is having a real moment and everywhere you look there are new gin distilleries opening up, we love gin, but here at Boutique Bars HQ we think rum is going to be the next big thing!
We are already looking forward to next years festival!
