A surprisingly sunny weekend in August took us to Northumberlands premier aviation and military regalia festival.
We were the sole bar provider for this aviation festival with guest attendance surpassing 15,000 over the weekend.
We kitted out the main beer tent with a 4 metre long mirror bar serving a full bar range, due to the weather the majority of guests opted for jugs of Pimms, however pints of Spitfire ale were flying out all weekend, PUN intended!
Alongside the main beer tent we sited one of our 10 metre long bar trailers, with 8 dedicated serving stations, they are the perfect option to serve large numbers of guests with minimal queuing.
The bars were situated opposite the main stage and were the perfect base for guests to enjoy the live music on offer and the aerial performances above.
Away from the main stage we also managed the VIP bar, housed in a fabulous tipi provided by The Unique Tent Co, we stoked the fires and guests retreated from the action to toast marshmallows and enjoy a signature cocktail or specialist gin & tonic.
A fantastic first year for what will hopefully become an annual event
