Our sister company Crosby Hire has been adding some fantastic products to their range.
This season they have added many utility items such as ovens, BBQ’s, plate jacks etc.
But they have also purchased these beautiful Wooden Cross Back chairs and stunning Rose Gold Cutlery.
Over the 21st, 22nd and 23rd April we were asked to provide a Gin Bar at the very popular Ponteland Rugby Club Beer Festival.
The gin bar was the first of it’s kind at the festival and proved to be a runaway hit with the thousands of guests that visited over the three days.
Another season and we have added some more bars to our already huge range.
Introducing our rustic wooden bars, perfect for so many wedding themes, we have many events already booked for these new bars from country marquee weddings to cosy village hall weddings
We would like to introduce you to our new bars for the Summer 16 season, we commissioned a local craftsman to make us four 3ft bar counters in a Gold finish and a Copper finish.
The results are stunning, the gold bars are extremely decadent and elegant whilst the copper bars are perfect for an industrial or rustic event.
Both bars have their first outings this weekend and we are excited to see them getting to work.

Last weekend we were fortunate to be involved with a myriad of weddings and events, we have chosen to share with you a little more from one of the weddings we assisted with.
The enchanting Shortflatt Tower was the wedding venue and we set up a 10ft illume bar in the onsite grande marquee, the marquee was decorated beautifully with subtle shades of pink. Once the lights turned down our illume bar created the perfect evening party atmosphere.
We served mojitos in mason jars and real ales in tankards to the 120 guests whilst they enjoyed the sunny day and pleasant evening.
All in all a beautiful bank holiday weekend was had! Read more…
Last weekend it was time for us to head to Whitfield for the annual clay pigeon shoot. We have provided the bar and food service at Whitfield for many years now and always look forward to it. Historically the Whitfield weekend has always been a rather wet one, but this year the sun shone all weekend, much to the surprise of the teams entering the competition.
Due to the beautiful weather the participants and spectators sipped a large range of drinks from our trailer bar with the classic G & T coming out as favorite!
Fingers crossed for even better weather next year Read more…
Last Friday night we dusted off our neckerchiefs and scuffed up our boots for a 50th birthday party hoedown.
We served ales in dimpled pint glasses and Pimms in mason jars from a traditional wooden bar to the 150 guests.
The night was a roaring success with the line dancing carrying on until the early hours.
In late April we kicked off a busy spring season with an inaugural rugby sevens after party.
We have provided bar services for this event for a few years now and always enjoy the party; the VIP guests arrive after attending the local rugby match to a champagne reception and then are well catered to by a multitude of different cocktails and catering options.
A favourite this year was our heavy gin based concoction named “The Moll”
Music was provided by “Highly Strung” and the guests partied until the early hours!
This weekend myself and the team travelled to Dumfries in bonnie Scotland, for what was quite possibly one of the most amazing events we have had the pleasure in working.
Once again we were working with Bakerwood marquees and we served a mixture of classic cocktails from an illuminated bar, the guests arrived in fairy-tale costume and full military regalia for this high society event.
The party went on from 6pm until 6am and featured 3 different marquees including a jungle themed room.
The guests and we had a fantastic night and the pictures really speak for themselves.
Now we are off to catch up on some sleep!
A right royal affair at this military wedding, our traditional pine bars looked beautiful in this classic marquee, the entertainment provided was amazing, from jazz band to pianist there was something to suit all tastes and brought real variety to the reception. Spitfire real ale was served on tap naturally and Peroni to cater to the non military boys!
